What Are You Doing To Be Green Today?

At we like to try to think of new ways to be greener everyday. Here are some ways you can reduce your carbon footprint.
  • Eat less meat and dairy
  • Only run your dishwasher when full and use the energy saver drying option
  • Only run your washing machine when full and use cold water
  • Walk, bike, or carpool whenever possible
  • Repair broken items before replacing them
  • Compost
  • Unplug items when not in use
  • Bring reusable bags when you go shopping (not just the grocery store)
  • Bring your own travel mug to Starbucks
  • Avoid purchasing plastic products whenever possible
  • Cancel your magazine and newspaper subscriptions
  • Pay your bills online
  • Switch all your lightbulbs to CFLs
  • Purchase recycled, organic, non-toxic, sustainable products whenever possible
  • Recycle your old electronics
  • Go running outside instead of using a treadmill
